Stu began his career as a trial attorney in Chicago – trying over 50 jury trials to verdict. He rose through the ranks quickly to become the youngest named partner of an international law firm with offices in Chicago, LA, and London. At the ceremony inducting Stu into the law partnership he was challenged to stop thinking of himself as a lawyer and instead think of himself as an entrepreneur. Stu did just that and within a year of being named partner retired from the practice of law (at the age of 33) and moved his family across the country to start up a tour company in Savannah, Georgia – a much more explosive business opportunity. Savannah Taste Experience® quickly grew to become an industry icon now, after over 12 years of operations, with over 30 employees, an exponentially expanding brick & mortar retail spin-off, a first-of-its-kind private corporate food festival event service (Micro Food Fest®) wing, and the development of a corporate gift basket service. Once Stu was able to turn his various businesses into passive income, he began sharing his passion for the tourism industry and business development in general through presenting at webinars, in-person conference seminars, and providing one-on-one coaching for tour companies and restaurants.
When Stu isn’t strategizing with business owners on meteoric growth he is flying single-engine planes, traveling the world with his family, writing (so-far unpublished) novels, winning chili cooking competitions, or playing ’90s tunes on his acoustic guitar. Fun fact – Stu has passports from the UK, US, and Canada . . . and no one has ever accused him of being Jason Bourne.
