At Cultivate, we believe in offering small business owners a custom plan for their business. Every owner has unique challenges, experience and goals, and we are passionate about helping owners develop both personally and professionally to achieve financially rewarding businesses that grow and thrive.

Where We Started

Cultivate was founded by Casey Clark and Dan Gramann in 2013 when they realized their passion for helping businesses. Slowly the two began building their books of business while paving the way for future advisors. Today, that 1-on-1 advising model has grown into a community where clients can look to each other for support, while having access to systems and tools to utilize in between advising sessions.

Building Our Team

We began expanding our team with Advisors in Chicago, Green Bay, Denver, Phoenix, Toronto, and Vancouver. All of our advisors come from different industries with different experiences, but the one thing they have in common is that they've all run a small business. It was important to us that Cultivate was built on owners because anyone that has run a business knows you can’t relate unless you’ve done it.

Building Our Culture

We're always developing

Our advisors undergo a rigorous training program. Each year, they spend 171+ hours developing their own skills.

With offices across the US and Canada, it's important for us to maintain the tight-knit relationships despite the distance. We grow our culture through weekly huddles on Zoom, bi-annual training, and fun socials.

We're Industry Agnostic

All of our advisors have been business owners in the past. Many of our advisors have come from a franchising background and others have started, built and sold businesses in a past life. As a team, we have worked/advised in over 140 industries from home service to hospitality to creative agencies. And if there is one thing that our experience has taught us, it's that small business owners don't need more industry knowledge, they need the core business skills to help them move the needle in their business.

We Put Clients First

We’re constantly learning and collaborating with each other to solve problems for our clients. Each week our advisors get together in small groups to get multiple heads on a challenge for their clients. Often our advisors bring other advisors from the team to help support the relationship when specific specialties are needed.

Like our clients, we’re constantly working on our business. Since 2016, we've more than doubled our team and we've created more and more resources to help our clients grow faster, too. Nowadays, we're focused on streamlining our processes and building out new systems that help us improve our services.
