At Cultivate, we believe in offering small business owners a custom plan for their business. Every owner has unique challenges, experience and goals, and we are passionate about helping owners develop both personally and professionally to achieve financially rewarding businesses that grow and thrive.

We’ve worked with thousands of businesses around the world in over 200 different industries and helped them grow on average 65% in revenue and 108% in profit. Our advisors are more than a coach or consultant, they truly become a partner, not taking any equity but instead getting into the trenches with you and working on a growth plan and cadence that’s customized to your ever-changing needs as you scale.

Where We Started

Cultivate was founded by Casey Clark and Dan Gramann in 2013 when they realized their passion for helping businesses. Slowly the two began building their books of business while paving the way for future advisors. Today, that 1-on-1 advising model has grown into a community where clients can look to each other for support, while having access to systems and tools to utilize in between advising sessions.

Building Our Team

We began expanding our team with Advisors in Chicago, Green Bay, Denver, Phoenix, Toronto, and Vancouver. All of our advisors come from different industries with different experiences, but the one thing they have in common is that they’ve all run a small business. It was important to us that Cultivate was built on owners because anyone that has run a business knows you can’t relate unless you’ve done it.

Building Our Culture

We’re always developing

Our advisors undergo a rigorous training program with over 220 hours of training in year 1 to continue improving their skills in all areas of the business.

With clients and advisors across North America, it’s important for us to maintain tight-knit relationships despite the distance. We grow our culture through weekly huddles on Zoom, bi-annual in-person training, and fun socials.

We’re Industry Agnostic

All of our advisors have been business owners in the past. Many of our advisors have come from a franchising background and others have started, built and sold businesses in a past life. As a team, we have worked/advised in over 180 industries from home service to hospitality to creative agencies. And if there is one thing that our experience has taught us, it’s that small business owners don’t need more industry knowledge, they need the core business skills to help them move the needle in their business.

We Put Clients First

We’re constantly learning and collaborating with each other to solve problems for our clients. Each week our advisors get together in small groups to get multiple heads on a challenge for their clients. Often our advisors bring other advisors from the team to help support the relationship when specific specialties are needed.

Tina Moser

Tina Moser started her first business at the age of 26. It grew from 0 revenue to $2 million and was the top performer in the franchise system. Tina specializes in both financials and HR / Recruiting. She is a firm believer that businesses need to know their KPIs and metrics in order to know where they are headed. She has recruited more than 800 direct staff while owning her own business and is strong in all the necessary elements to support the staff including systems, procedures, training, career ladders, and leadership.

Jeff Rendell

He specializes in keeping goals, life balance, and personal development top of mind.  Jeff knows 1st hand what it is like to be a business owner.  He has owned and operated his own franchise, been a partner in multiple businesses, and has supported owners in various industries for over 20 years.  Jeff brings an unmatched energy to everything he does and lives by the motto “do what you love, in the service of people, who love what you do.”

Roy Flemming

Business Advisor | Vancouver, BC

After graduating from university, Roy Flemming fell in love with the hospitality industry. After moving to Vancouver, he leveraged his leadership abilities into a corporate restaurant role with a national Canadian brand. His goal was the drive sales and profitability for the British Columbia and Alberta markets through his people. In 2013, after 12 years in corporate, he opened an award-winning restaurant with a couple of business partners. In 2016 he was able to remove himself from daily operations and began R.S.F Consulting, helping small companies navigate the ever-changing business landscape. Then, in 2019, he joined the Cultivate team and where he is excited to share 20 years of business experience with his clients.

Brad Kreutz

He has operated multiple businesses in different industries and is hyper-focused on the optimization of systems and processes. He specializes in financials and sales and has grown from $500K to $6.5MM in telesales and online marketing.
