Cristy O’Connor knows what it’s like to wear all the hats in the business. When she purchased eight failing fitness boutiques in 2018 with three other business partners, Cristy became the boots on the ground, hiring, training, and managing over 120 employees. She designed and developed processes, identified KPIs, and coached upper management through leadership training.

Cristy’s hard work paid off: she turned the company around, increasing revenue by 42% and creating a profitable business in a single year.

As an entrepreneur and business partner, Cristy learned the power of an expert, third-party Advisor to help both her and the company move faster and more efficiently. She regretted not getting a third party earlier and was impressed with the growth they were able to achieve. She realized that she shared some of the superpowers critical to being an influential Advisor: big picture planning, strategy development, and implementing actionable items by training people up to the next level.

Cristy joined Cultivate Advisors in 2021 after a successful exit from her company. She currently lives in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, where she spends her free time in nature with her Australian Shepard. Most recently, she has taken up rock climbing.
